How did we come up with this?
Several moons ago, I was in an unfamiliar city craving a cheeseburger. I asked several locals if they had a favorite neighborhood burger joint. All I got was some pretty well known franchises where I knew exactly what to expect. I wanted something only locals might know about, not a long list of everything available on a Google search. Maybe a place without a website at all, or one hiding from Yelp. Locally Famous. Beloved. ‘Our family has been going there for years’. They were drawing a blank. Big marketing budgets had obliterated their burger senses...
